Blackblade

A creature of considerable height, Blackblade is known as a dragonkind from the green snout which peeks from under his black hooded robe. He wears a longbow upon his back and carries a scimitar at his side, so he clearly isn't a thief...

Bio:

Blackblade was born into a royal family of dragonkind, the son of the King actually. Due to his nature of being a poison breather, Blackblade was trained in the art of assassination, but he never quite fit in with the others of his caste. He saw the nobility of his father (a lightning breather) and learned the code of honour through osmosis. Being a man of tradition, his father instructed him that he must be the underhand to their great nation, that the stars and his unique capabilities marked him as such. Blackblade did not agree, and refused to carry out his rite of passage (an assassination). Cast out from the mountains, he quickly learned that the skills of stealth and trickery would prove of little value surviving in the woodlands he began to call home. Instead, he would need the skills of hunting, fishing, and survival. It was this that drew him to the path of the ranger, and he realized quickly that his learned skills could easily be transferred. After all, a bow is good for taking down an elk, but only if said creature is not alerted to your presence…

Still, a life of solitude proved unsufficient, as there were things that Blackblade needed to survive that could not be taken from the forest. There were things that cost something called…. money, a term previously unknown to the outcast noble. However, he learned that he was quite good at tracking and traversing dangerous ground, and began to sell his skills as a scout and guide. Upon receiving payment for his efforts, he realized that the ore that he required to ingest to complete his metabolism was highly illegal in most places, and so he set off to Shadowmoon, a bastion of anarchy and vice. If he could find a seller of the precious ore, this would be the place to do it…
